There ain’t no party like a 💥 4th of July Party 🇺🇸! America’s Birthday is my 3rd favorite holiday (1 being my own birthday and 2 being Halloween…duh 😂 ) so I absolutely love picking out my outfit and themed accessories every year.

I love a cobalt blue moment. Both of these dresses are beautiful and perfect for a night out with fireworks!

Fireworks Outfit 1: Patriotic Pinup

This is actually a shapewear dress! So in addition to being super on theme, it helps you feel pulled in all day. (Don’t worry, it also has a slit in the shorts so you can pee without taking it off…WINNING hahaha). I love that by tying my hair back with a handkerchief and putting on some chucks it dresses it down.

Nothing beats a flowy maxi dress, especially during the summer heat! I added a pop of red lip color and you could easily change out the shoes to hit the white!

I think this look may be my favorite, because it’s extremely easy to put together with last minute pieces from your wardrobe, but also because we all know how dangerous white can get while eating so you can always just use the handkerchief as a bib, too 😂

Wet, Hot American Summer

I live in Minnesota so for me the 4th of July really means I’ll be at the lake so swimsuits that double as all day outfits are essential. Here are two great red suit options!

I have cellulite, saddlebags, thunder thighs #nothighgap , back rolls, flabby arms, a pear shaped body, and this is me not wearing pants or a full on cover-up, because I don’t need to and neither do you. Take this as your reminder to stop letting negative thoughts about your body stop you from doing things you enjoy. Wear the swimsuit. Get in the water. Live life.
