I haven’t been a consistent member of a gym since I cancelled my membership during COVID to focus instead on walking outdoors. Unfortunately, over the last year I’ve found that I haven’t been moving my body nearly enough and it is time to reprioritize movement.

Working out at a gym makes me uncomfortable, because it’s, quite frankly, not something that I’m confident doing. My flexibility is non existent, my form is subpar, and I am constantly worried I’m “in the way.”

However, I’m all about faking confidence until you trick yourself into feeling it, and I know that a cute workout outfit is a never fail way to quickly boost my confidence and help me feel a little more like I “belong.”

Plus Size Work Out Set

Part of my confidence journey has been selecting a part of my body I’m uncomfortable with and actively working on NOT covering it up. My Midriff is that part of me I haven’t been able to get completely comfortable with yet so I’m excited that some of these sets are showing it.

Plus Size Sports Bras

I’m plus size with a smaller chest so finding a good fitting sports bra isn’t always easy for me. If I get them at the right cup size (B) they’re usually too small around and if I focus on the circumference (40″) I usually have a lot of gaping and they’re too loose in the chest.

I’m wearing a US 18 in all of the sports bras below and I find that they do provide enough support without being super tight.
