My arms are a big insecurity for me so I’ve actively been working on learning to embrace them. Self confidence and body positivity isn’t something that comes naturally to anyone, so I believe it’s important to practice practice practice by continuing to push yourself out of your comfort zone. When I was putting these outfits together I was so concerned with this tank top I’m wearing being a crop top that I didn’t even think about my arms once. While some may say having one body insecurity trump another isn’t a win, to me, not thinking about my arms at all, after so many years of obsessing about how they look or how they are posed in photos is a huge accomplishment.
The reason I love both of these outfits is that they stay true to my basic style, but either can easily be dressed up. They also use basically the same components, but by using print and accessories they give off very different vibes.
