I make no secret of the fact that I *wish* I was an alt girl and although I’m not 100% there, I am very pleased with the pieces I’ve been accumulating the last few years as I’ve started to identify my personal style vs. wear different aesthetics for the different “performances” in my life – work Tara, trendy Tara, at home Tara, sexy/hot wife Tara, etc.

Disturbia is a new one for me – mostly because I haven’t previously been able to find many pieces of theirs in my size. In both dresses below they were OOS in my size on the US website, but I was able to order them in UK sizes and have them shipped.

I fell in love with this pattern and even though it’s a dusty rose pink and very girly, it has just enough goth that it felt like my vibe.

The only downside is you need someone else to zip it all the way up.
